Fred Haise Test Stand, NASA’s Stennis Space Center
NASA is conducting a hot fire as part of the final round of certification testing ahead of production of an updated set of the engines for the SLS (Space Launch System) rocket.
Today’s test of RS-25 Engine 0525 on the Fred Haise Test Stand has a planned duration of 615 seconds with a maximum 111% power level.
